Haley McInnes, R. Psych,

Registered Psychologist (CHCPBC #04141)

Haley McInnes received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2019. She then pursued a professional path in evidence-based behavioural intervention for young children on the autism spectrum, in which she worked as both a lead behavioural therapist and educational assistant. She went on to graduate with a professional Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology (MEd SACP) at the University of Calgary in 2022. This program utilized a practitioner-scholar model, equipping Haley with three years of relevant theory and clinical practice in psycho-educational assessment and evidence-based interventions, including residencies, practicums, and a 1,200-hour internship. She completed her internship under the supervision of Dr. Arnold, gaining in-depth mentorship in her psychological framework and professional ethos. Following graduation, Haley continued to work under Dr. Arnold as a psychometrist, conducting comprehensive assessments. She later pursued registration as a psychologist in Alberta, completing 1,600 hours of supervised clinical practice as a provisional psychologist before becoming fully registered. Haley is now a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia, where she provides both assessments and therapy services.

Areas of Specialty

Haley conducts psycho-educational, ADHD, and autism assessments to evaluate a range of developmental, learning, and social-emotional-behavioural concerns (e.g., giftedness, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, etc.). She also provides therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, social challenges, low self-esteem, and difficulties with stress management.

Haley strives to empower clients and their caregivers to understand the “why” behind each step of the assessment or therapeutic process, equipping them with the knowledge and resources to confidently support the individual’s goals and needs. She aims to make every session a collaborative, supported, and positive experience through establishing strong rapport and offering warm encouragement each step of the way.
