Background

Jourdan Jackson (she/her) completed her MA in Clinical Psychology in 2021 and is completingher PhD in Clinical Psychology at Simon Fraser University. Her research focus is on the prevention of school violence. Her clinical focus is on psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic assessments and individual therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She has completed assessment and treatment practicum placements at Dr. Sharon Arnold & Associates, Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services, and the Clinical Psychology Centre. Her work at our clinic is supervised by Dr. Sharon Arnold and offered at a reduced rate.

Areas of Speciality

Jourdan conducts psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic assessments with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of developmental, learning, and social-emotional-behavioural difficulties (e.g., giftedness, learning differences, ADHD) at Dr. Sharon Arnold & Associates. She has a particular passion for and experience in supporting youth whose difficulties are presenting in outward disruptive behaviours. She is dedicated to emphasizing individual strengths and providing a warm, supportive, and empowering experience.
